Noku Japanese–our new obsession

Tired of our usual spots, we opted for something new this afternoon. Turning to our trusted Yelp for guidance, the hubby and I came upon Noku Japanese. And what a find it was!

We quite literally just drove home from dining and I immediately ran to the laptop to write this review. Not only was the service first-class, friendly, and quick, but the ambiance and FOOD were divine. It’s a cozy spot with some outdoor seating, lovely décor on the walls and large hanging lights; in other words, I loved it at first glance!

And the food, the food, the food! As you can see below, the sushi was beautiful, and tasted the same. We had the mango roll and Pink Lady roll. So different, so lovely! Carefully prepared by the chef, and ravenously devoured by us. The miso soup and salad leading up to the sushi were spot on, too.

And no meal–in my humble opinion–is complete without dessert. I asked about red bean ice cream. Instead of straight ice cream, though, they had red bean mochi. This dessert basically rocked my little world! It was big enough to share…although I honestly didn’t want to. The things you do for love, am I right?

Red bean mocha--to die for!

Go to Noku! NOW!

On the road again,
