Right on the money with Q Company

044Bold paint on the walls. Bold font on the sign. Bold food. This place is just…bold! And unapologetically proud of their product, which they should be. The Q Company in Leesburg wins my vote for best bbq and excellent service. And they definitely earn the Ms. Thrifty stamp of approval for price. Seriously! The hubby and I recently ate there and had enough for leftovers for later on for only $15. $15!

The menu is simple and to-the-point:  they offer meats and sides that have been cooked with love and special rubs. Here are our favorites so far:  the ribs, smoked brisket, sweet potato fries (you will not even dream of asking for ketchup), baked beans (made with peppers and pulled pork), and cole slaw. And as soon as you’re seated (you choose your own seats, which adds to the laid-back atmosphere), your server will greet you warmly with hot, straight-from-the-oven sweet cornbread. Sorry to all those who have made cornbread for me before, but this is by far the best I’ve ever eaten. The best!

Make it a point to visit this mom-and-pop joint in Leesburg, and tell them Ms. Thrifty sent you.

On the road again,

Ms. Thrifty
