Faang knows style

Faang's main dining room

Dinner on a Saturday night? Give Faang a try. Located near Downtown Leesburg off Route 7 (in the development with Wegman’s and Cobb Theater), it is a delicious way to enjoy the evening.

The shrimp roll appetizer with a sweet dip

My travel buddy, hubby, and I decided to sample the sushi and Thai fare this evening and what a hit! The food kept my tastebuds on their tiptoes, and the overall vibe was relaxing. Seriously, could they decorate myhouse?!

Papaya salad

This place boasted major ambiance, what with the dark woods, cool lighting, clean lines, and contemporary design. Even the restroom, with its granites and tiles,

Sushi rolls. And, yes, they tasted as beautiful as they look!

had a zen-like quality. Not to mention it had one of the coolest faucets I’ve seen (a bamboo-shaped nozzle that poured down into your hands)! The music threw us off a little, but who doesn’t love a little Mariah Carey and Lincoln Park over dinner.

Our attentive waiter took our order and it looked a little something like this:  a shrimp roll appetizer, a papaya salad (with a little heat), a spicy tuna roll, a spider

The crispy duck

roll, a samurai roll, and (for our Thai tasting) a crispy duck dish. It was a blast sharing all of it family-style, which is the perfect way to sample different foods without breaking the bank.

All I can say is yum, yum, and more yum! This little gem is a must visit and we definitely plan to return.

On the road again (with a full belly),

Ms. Thrifty
